A night with Goose Island migration tour was really well received in Seattle. I just had the Bourbon County Stuff. I loved the Proprietor’s and the Backyard Rye but the 2012 Coffee was the real winner in my opinion. All were delicious. The G.I. events are always huge in the Midwest and I am glad to the West embracing them as well.
Elysian Dayglow IPA has been maybe my favorite Seattle summer beer and it had my favorite artwork for sure. It helps I live right above an Elysian taphouse. 4.5/5!
Almanac Golden Gate Gose. Not as sour as I wanted it to be but still delicious tart summer drinkin’.
The first three of the Sierra Nevada Beer Camps I had. Started with the Ballast Point Electric Ray. A hoppy lager, very delicious, maybe my favorite of the three I had. The Myron’s Walk brewed with Allagash is a Belgian style pale ale with Coriander, it was very easy drinking on the deck yesterday, light and zesty. Then there was the Russian River Yvan the Great a hopped up Belgian style blonde ale, also nice, light and easy drinking with a crisp hoppy finish. All three were very tasty. I cannot wait to try the rest.
The Brother from Fremont Brewing in Seattle. A crazy good Imperial IPA using Centennial, Chinook, Columbus and Amarillo hops. They list the IBUs as 1 billion and that is awesome. 4/5.
Minneapolis airport is amazing. Order yourself a Surly Furious via Ipod, have it delivered to you. Sit and enjoy.
Galaxy hero and Crystal hero from Revolution. I preferred the Crystal but both were easy drinking. Cheers to Revolution.
