Almanac Golden Gate Gose. Not as sour as I wanted it to be but still delicious tart summer drinkin’.
I did Mail Box Peak yesterday. You gain 4,000 ft elevation in 2.5 miles. Pretty hard but pretty amazing.
Hikers making their way up the trail to Camp Muir on Sunday. Mt. Adams in the background. What a beautiful day on the mountain.
The first three of the Sierra Nevada Beer Camps I had. Started with the Ballast Point Electric Ray. A hoppy lager, very delicious, maybe my favorite of the three I had. The Myron’s Walk brewed with Allagash is a Belgian style pale ale with Coriander, it was very easy drinking on the deck yesterday, light and zesty. Then there was the Russian River Yvan the Great a hopped up Belgian style blonde ale, also nice, light and easy drinking with a crisp hoppy finish. All three were very tasty. I cannot wait to try the rest.
The Brother from Fremont Brewing in Seattle. A crazy good Imperial IPA using Centennial, Chinook, Columbus and Amarillo hops. They list the IBUs as 1 billion and that is awesome. 4/5.
Minneapolis airport is amazing. Order yourself a Surly Furious via Ipod, have it delivered to you. Sit and enjoy.
